Essay

Thesis is the first comprehensive study of the evolution of business left-bank Ukraine 1861 - 1905 in the thesis that local landlords in early twentieth century began to invest money received under the security of land in industrial activity. Proved that zemstva and urban local governments were made for the development of many left-bank regions, but they could not influence government policy on entrepreneurship. High levels of religiosity and encouraging government policies contributed to the development of charity left-bank businesses. Charity representatives of all nationalities were involved.
