Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the complex analysis of Kosiv ceramics of the second half of the XX-th century. The author traces the ways of formation and development of the Art School of Kosiv. She has classified Kosiv ceramic articles of the second half of the XX-th century according to their typology and functional use and peculiarities of shape. The author examines artistic peculiarities of decor, analyzes the elements and ornamental motifs, and points to the decoration schemes on the objects in her research work. The author gives the art analysis of the works by folk masters and professional artists of Kosiv ceramics of the second half of the XX-th century.
