The problem of the development of pre-school education in USA in the comparative and pedagogical aspects is researched. American pedagogical experience of pre-school education is analyzed from practical point of view, its peculiarities and possibility of its use and adaptation in Ukrainian system of pre-school education. The peculiarities of pre-school education development in USA in the context of educational policy of the country are described in the dissertation. Main basis and conception of USA pre-school education are analyzed in the research; it also specifies the content of the basic notions for pre-school: "pre-school education", "kindergarten", "early childhood upbringing", "pre-school" (pre-kindergarten), that American specialists use. The system of pre-school education of USA is described: aim, principles, content, forms and methods of American pre-school education are characterized. The peculiarities of pre-school specialist preparation is presented in the dissertation. The main tendencies of pre-school education development in USA and Ukraine in the context of modern educational globalization are distinguished in the scientific work. The author theoretically defines possibilities of use of American pedagogical experience in Ukraine. Based on creative application of American experience of pre-school organization, the offered recommendation enables realization of the suggested possibilities in Ukrainian pre-school educational establishments.
