Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to investigation of duodenum structures remodeling at arterial hypertension in pulmonary circulation with features of cardiac compensation and decompensation among white rats of different age groups. While comparing the results of complex morphological duodenum research among animals of different age it was established that in the process of senescence duodenum gains following transformations: thickness of mucous and muscular tunic, length of fibres and height of epitheliocytes are diminished. Disturbances structural of homeostasis investigated organ was confirmed by the stability of submucous-mucous, submucous-muscular, muscular-mucous indexes and by core-cytoplasmic relations in epitheliocytes and endotheliocytes. Morphometric research discovered that postresectional arterial hypertension leads to apparent duodenum wall remodelling. Detected changes are accompanied by violations by structural homeostasis of the duodenum on all levels of its organization which is confirmed by considerable changes of relations between spatial characteristics of the duodenum membranes and also by cytoplasm and core size of epitheliocytes and endotheliocytes. More apparent changes occurred to animals of older age group with signs of cardiac decompensation.
