Subject of inquiry - metabolic diseases in the high-productive cows. Subject of investigation - hypocalcemia and hypophosphatemia in the high-productive cows: their dynamics over a lactation and dry period, causes of development, methods of diagnostic, treatment and group prevention. Research methods - clinical, examination of morphological composition of blood (red blood count), packed cell volume, biochemical (haemoglobin, total protein, colloid-sediment tests (sublimate and formalin), total and ionized calcium, inorganic phosphorus, total magnesium, activity of total alkaline phosphatase, her intestinal and bone isoenzymes, acid phosphatase), immune-enzyme analysis (25OHD3, parathormone). Scientific novelty of the received results. For the first time in Ukraine was researched development dynamics of hypocalcaemia and hypophosphatemia in the high-productive cows at different physiological periods with accounting of functional condition parathyroid glands and biological active metabolite vitamin D3 - 25OHD3. The asymptomatic hypocalcemia and hypophosphatemia course in the first two day of lactation developed, which in individual case complications of typical symptoms of the parturient paresis and hypophosphatemia were disclosed. For the first time in Ukraine joint course of parturient hypocalcemia and hypophosphatemia was established, what maked essential changes in treatment regimen of cows. Practical importance obtained results. On the base of biochemical investigations of blood were developed system measures of diagnostics, group prevention and therapy of the hypocalcemia and hypophosphatemia in the high-productive cows, which was introduced in individual Ukrainian farm. The test efficiency of drug brovaglukin, which might recommended for treatment of hypocalcaemia in acute and chronic course was conducted. The vitamin and mineral addition "Milk cow" was fed subject to result of the blood examination, what prevented development of the 2 and 3 stages osteodystrophy, gradually restored metabolism of the calcium and phosphorus. It is introduced: obtained results are used in scientific research and educational process in Bila Tserkva State Agrarian University, south branch of the National University of Live and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine "Crimean Agrotechnological University", Poltava State Agrarian Academy, Lviv national academy of veterinary medicine by S.Z. Gzhitskiy, Lugansk National Agrarian University, Kharkov State Zooveterinary Academy, Zhitomir Agroecological University. The sphere of the use: veterinary medicine.
