Essay

The basic principles and implementation of Soviet social policy in western Ukraine has been considered. It has been found quantitative and qualitative characteristics of human and financial situation, achievements and problems of a system of pension and social insurance coverage. It is shown that social status "of the Soviet pensioner" evidence of loyalty to Soviet power. Grate the material welfare of military personnel and disabled, were singled out housing issues and farmlands in urban and rural population. Established that social rehabilitation of disabled soldiers and held in several stages.
