The analysis of results was performed based on diagnosis and surgical treatment of the 106 children with pectus excavatum (PE). All patients were operated by minimally invasive procedure. 27 (25,47%) patients were operated with D.Nuss procedure, 18 (16,98%) patients underwent D.Nuss procedure with J.Bohosiewicz modification, and 61 (57,55%) patients underwent D.Nuss procedure with D.Yu.Krivchenia modification. Mini-invasive repair of PE was improved by thoracoscopic control of retrosternal passage of pectus bar. Developed and implemented minimally invasive method of extrapleural retrosternal passage and fixing of pectus bar for correction of PE in children. Also, developed a monolithic single-component pectus bar for treatment of PE in children. Developed and implemented the tools for mini-invasive correction of PE. The usage of the enhanced mini-invasive techniques for the repair of PE averted the emergence of severe complications and obtained positive results in 93.24% of treated children. Field - medicine.
