Essay

On the basis of archival documents, national and foreign historiography, memoirs, periodicals materials the formation of „Prosvita” in Volyn is analyzed. Also u researched their organizational structure and quantitative composition, forms and methods of work for preservation and enhancement of national cultural heritage of Ukrainian, instructive influence on processes in the environment of national minorities experience accumulated during the national liberation struggle and the struggle against the policy of assimilation. The participation of the of the „Prosvita” in providing opportunities Volyn continued spiritual development of personality as a component of national education is researched.
