Tsygankova T. Systematic inflammation while chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and ways of it control with the help of statins.

Research subject: 126 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Research purpose: to promote effectivness of adding symvastatin to base treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods: clinical, laboratorise, instrumentals - for diagnostics chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. We found increasing of proinflammatory cytokines and C-reactive protein production, activation of proteolytic systems while exacerbation and stable diseases course. Theoretical and practical results: we proved an effectivness of adding symvastatin to base treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease for reducing the content of systemic markers of inflammation, inhibition of cellular mechanisms of inflammation and elimination of shifts in the system of proteolysis, leading to improvement of clinical effectiveness of treatment..
