In the dissertation we entirely presented the issue of aesthetic education development in out-of-school work of a secondary school (the second half of the twentieth century); disclosed the sources of teenagers' aesthetic education in the national educational thought and preconditions of its realization in educational practice; defined and grounded the stages of teenagers' aesthetic education development at a secondary school in Ukraine within the outlined limits; generalized the experience (content, forms, methods and means of teenagers' aesthetic education in out-of-school work of the period under investigation); updated them in the context of secondary education reforming under contemporary conditions.
