Fesenko L. Legal status of the Higher Specialised Court of Ukraine on civil and criminal cases in the judicial system.

The dissertation is the first monographic work in Ukraine in which legal status of the Higher Specialised Court of Ukraine on civil and criminal cases is researched. Common features of this court and other superior courts are analysed and its specificity is described. The author offers prospects of perfection of the court structure, functions and authorities of the court chambers, the court plenum, the scientific-advisory council, as well as the court apparatus. The author examines the role of the Higher Specialised Court on civil and criminal cases in providing a uniform and correct application of laws by courts of corresponding jurisdiction through granting them recommendatory explanations. Offers on perfection of normative regulation of the activity of the court apparatus, its functions and relations with the chairman of the court are suggested in the dissertation.
