Essay

Developed a conceptual apparatus of the geopolitical junction zones and systematized for functions, global geopolitical position to the centers of power, inner structure. By typing results identified the following types of geo-political zones of butt: contact, contact-filter, buffer-barrier, transit-pin, barrier-separated. Each type has a different level of stability, structure, specific socio-cultural space. Analyzed of geopolitical and geo-economic situation of Ukraine in the Baltic-Black Sea-Caspian space, role, place and perspective of geopolitical development.
