Voitovych A. Coalition of the Left Socialist Parties in the South of Ukraine during the Period of Foundation of the Comparty System (1917-1925): Idea and Realization

Problems of formation and functioning of coalition of the left socialist parties in the South of Ukraine during the period of foundation of the comparty system (1917 - 1925) are analyzed in the dissertation. The research proves that the idea of "left alliance" was altering accordingly to the political and war situation while differentiation of political powers in the South of Ukraine formed its configuration and tasks. The conclusion was drawn, that the core of that political coalition was the Bolshevik party, whose goal was concentration of unlimited power in its hands. Using tactical, often situational alliances with left socialist parties, it came to power, formed comparty system and obtained total control over the society.
