Bulachek V. Public and political activities of Yulian Romanchuk (1842 – 1932)

Object: public-political activity of Yu. Romanchuk in the second half of the XIX - first third of the XX century in the context of public-political processes of that-time Galychyna, international relations, above all things Ukrainian-Polish. Purpose: to analyze a place and role of Yu. Romanchuk in political history of Ukraine at the end of XIX - first third of the XX century, basic directions to his public-political activity. Methods: system-structural, biographic, logical, problem-chronologic, historical-situational, comparative. Results: first in Ukrainian historiography public-political activity of Yu. Romanchuk in the second half XIX - first third of the XX century in the context of realization of the program of the political strengthening of Ukrainian national motion the Ukrainian elite is investigated in complex and generalization. Sphere of the use: for preparation of summarizing publications, textbooks and scientific-methodical manuals on history of Ukrainian national motion, political idea and forming of national-political elite, and also in teaching practice.
