Essay

The dissertation is devoted the problem of determination of basic valued marks of spiritual and physical development of personality in Western European philosophy of education on the basis of generalization and conceptualization of works of this tradition in philosophy of education. A candidate for a degree argued that at determination of basic valued marks of modern education, and also at the exposure of threats mainly predisposed harmonious development of personality in modern society and ways of overcoming these threats representatives of modern Western European philosophy of education are claimed to one of two dominating valued strategies: or to humanism, or to social-technological strategy. Meaningfulness of work consists in, that it helps to find out a specific, advantages and lacks of humanism and social-technological valued strategies of development of spiritual and physical treats of personality by facilities of education. The measure of bringing in of the domestic system of education is also analyzed to the following these strategies, which determine basic valued marks of construction of common European educational space.
