Essay

The thesis is dedicated to studying bone morphogenesis after perforation of the proximal part of diaphysis of tibia in rats of different ages. With the help of mod-ern research techniques (osteometry, histomorphometry, biochemical tests, X-ray scatter analysis, biomechanical testing and statistics) we obtained new data on age features of growth, structure, chemical contents, ultrastructure of bone mineral and strength after formation of the defect in the tibia. For the first time, we provide X-ray scatter data on ultrastructural alterations in bone mineral that result from bone defect formation. We also proved quercetin to be useful correction agent for rever-sal of morphogenesis alterations caused by the bone defect.
