Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the issue of the collection, storage and subsequent processing of bilge water. The main result is to create the new bilge water separator technology based on the hydrodynamic process of supercavitation, through a process of cold boiling liquid in a chamber special construction - cavitator. During a long series of numerical experiments, data obtained that describe the behavior of the cavity. In physical experiments investigated the dependence of the separator performance from dynamical pressure of bilge water. The best results were obtained for the channel with separating plates at the inlet and outlet of cavitator's working chamber.
