Feshchenko A. Employment of unmanned air vehicles in military conflicts from the end of ХХ century to the beginning of ХХІ century.

Dissertation summarizes the experience of unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) deployment in the military conflicts in the period from the end of ХХ century to the beginning of ХХІ century in the Middle East, Afghanistan, the Balkans and the Caucasus.The author investigated typical and distinctive features of UAV application as well as identified groups of main factors that influenced UAV deployment in the military conflicts and their development during the aforementioned period and explored mechanism of that influence. The UAV application experience analysis allowed the author to define tendencies of UAV deployment and development, to discover particularities of military art sophistication, to describe main forms, methods and tactics of UAV employment.
