Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the comprehensive research of techniques and strategies of rendering the expressive linguistic means of modern English political discourse into Ukrainian. As a result of analysis conducted, it was established that the interpretive TL discourse generation is a process of transformation, which provides for such operations as translation interpretation of the original text and creative generation of the TL text on the basis of this interpretation. The idea of universal translation strategies application consists in reconstruction of the whole palette of author's ideas realized in the corresponding SL stylistic devices of oratorical speeches by means of TL expressive means to highlight communicatively important information.
