Zhowty S. The role of Ukrainians in the development of Russian culture in the second half of XVII - XVIII centuries.

In the dissertation analyzed and systematically published and archival materials, which concerns the role of leaders of Ukrainian origin in the development of Russian culture of the second half of XVII - XVIII centuries. Based on comprehensive analysis of available materials analyzed the historiography of the scientific problem and determine the degree of scientific development, provides an assessment of the existing data base of sources, the influence of Ukrainian clergy for the Russian church, education and missionary activity in Russia, found the number of hierarchs of the Russian Church of Ukrainian origin, studied the role of the Ukrainian literature and prominent representatives of Ukrainian culture in the development of Russian literature, defined the role of Ukrainian art in the development of Russian music and art, and architecture.
