The tax policy of the Russian tsarism in the Ukrainian village as a part of internally economic policy of the Russian empire government in the second half XIX - beginning XX century is complexly investigated in the work at the bases of the analysis of the historical sources and accoutrements of historiography with considering modern methodology. Especially the tax payments, pecuniary and natural taxes of Ukrainian peasantry are characterized, the level of tax burden is investigated, the main reasons of the accumulation of the unpayments from peasant's payment are found out.
