Essay

The work is based on a great amount of published and archival sources. The author shows the consequences of the World War II which brought an enormous amount of people and material losses for Ukraine. The whole age categories of children, teenagers and young people were out of the educational process for a long time. The author characterizes the state policy in education of working young people and teenagers, throws light on the organization of the part time schools for working and rural young people as well as extra-mural ones, shows strengthening of their personnel, educational and material abilities, ensuring the conditions for young people to get general secondary education without discontinuing work.
