Essay

The thesis work explores the problem of the origins, evolution and ideology of the Ukrainian state development in medieval and early modernist age. The key factor of the process were "grass-roots democracy" ideas . Also, the ideasphere of the Slavic tribes on the territory of Ukraine in the early Middle Ages was traced. It discloses the ideological first principals of the Rus state creation, structure of the Ancient Rus ideology, updated the issue of its effectiveness in Galicia-Volyn state.
