Object: professional training of future economists. Objective: theoretically prove, develop and experimentally verify the formation of leadership qualities of future economists in the course of professional training. Methods: theoretical, empirical, the method of system analysis, theoretical modeling, methods of mathematical statistics. Novelty: for the first time theoretically developed and experimentally tested model of forming of leadership qualities of future economists in the course of professional training; identify the structural components of leadership qualities economists (individually-psychological, communicative and creative, організаторсько-business and socio-group); identified criteria (motivational, professional, socio-cultural, communicative and evaluation) , and the formation of leadership skills of future economists in the process of professional training, and their levels are characterized (high, medium, satisfactory, low); improved the essence of notions "leader", "leadership", "leadership" and "leadership skills of economists" in the context of professional training; further development was given to the professional training of future economists in a higher educationalestablishments. Results: the results of dissertation research may be used for further improvement of the theory and practice of professional education, in professional training of the future specialists of the economic sphere, in improvement of professional level and retraining of staff, in the process of self-education future economists; area - theory and methods of professional education.
