Essay

Object: professional preparation of future educators of preschool educational establishments. Purpose: consists in development and theoretical grounding of the model of preparation of future educators of preschool educational establishments to prognostic activity, its experimental verification. Methods: theoretical – study, analysis and synthesis of philosophical, psychological, pedagogical, prognostic knowledge, monographic, teaching-methodological literature and normative-legal documents; systemic and functional analysis, comparison, modeling, classification, systematization and generalization; method of comparative analysis and synthesis of the research results, comprehension of their novelty; empiric – diagnostic (psychological-pedagogical observation, conversations, testing, questionnaires, interviews, expert estimation); pedagogical experiment; mathematical statistics. The scientific novelty of the research: theoretical grounding for the first time of the model of preparation of future educators to prognostic activity has been; in defining the content of components of prognostic activity of students-educators (axiological, cognitive, technological and reflexive); in introducing into scientific circulation the concept „prognostic activity of the educator of preschool educational establishment” and of its result, „prognostic competency”; in characterizing the stages of forming pedagogical prognostication; in improving the process of preparation of future educators of preschool educational establishments to prognostic activity and its scientific-methodical provision; in creating necessary pedagogical terms; the process of professional pedagogical preparation of preschool specialists to prognostic activity has been further developed. The results of the dissertation research can be used in the educational process of higher educational establishments, in preparation of educators of preschool educational establishments to prognostic activity, and also in writing diploma, master’s degree and dissertation works; the field: theory and methods of trade education.
