A research object is an earthly surface of Ukrainian Carpathians; purpose - to set character of morphological lateral' organization of earthly surface of Ukrainian Carpathians; methods - distance, landscape-indication, structural-geomorphological, GIS-methods; results - the author has perfected the method of morphological analysis for the study of mountain regions. The author has developed a new morphostructural model that reflects the complex hierarchy of CTMs in the Ukrainian Carpathians.
