The object of the research: process of historical development of agricultural implements in peasants’ and landowners’ farms of Slobodian Ukraine as an important component of logistics of national agriculture in the transformation of Ukrainian society in the second half of the XIXth - early XXth century. The dissertation purpose consists in complex research, ordering, interpretation and reconstruction of process of development of agricultural implements as an important component of logistics of national agriculture of Slobozhanschyna in the transformation of Ukrainian society, in study of process of maintenance by agricultural instruments, engineering and other implements peasants’ and landowners’ farms of Slobozhanschyna in the second half of the XIXth - early XXth century. Methods: analysis, synthesis, problem-chronological, historical-chronological, method of analogy, method of the logic and statistical analysis. Scientific novelty of the dissertation: the dissertation work is one of the first attempts of general complex scientific study of a history of development of agricultural implements as an important component of logistics of national agriculture in the transformation of Ukrainian society. Practical value: the materials and conclusions of the dissertation can be used in school courses on a history of Kharkov region, in subjects of students degree works; to become a useful source of the information during creation of museum expositions and exhibitions; at realization of expert estimation and restoration of agricultural instruments and machines, which are saved in state and private museum collections of Ukraine. Sphere of use: higher educational institutions.
