Lazneva I. Cooperation between Ukraine and Brazil: coming into being (1991-2004)

The object is the Ukrainian-Brazilian relations in 1991-2004, as an important constituent of foreign-policy course of Ukraine. The aim is a complex analysis of essence and basic progress of relations' trends between Ukraine and Brazil in political, trade-economic, scientific-technical and humanitarian areas. Methods are problem-historical, typology, ideographical, diachronic, retrospective one. The main results are the development of the Ukrainian-Brazilian political relations at intergovernmental level is analysed; a role and place of the Ukrainian Diaspora in expansion of collaboration between countries are defined; the basic directions and forms of economic collaboration are investigated and the effectiveness of the Ukrainian-Brazilian economic collaboration is defined; relations between countries in scientific-technical and humanitarian areas are considered.
