The object: regions of Ukraine. Research purpose: substantiation of theoretical and methodical foundations of integral assessment of regional competitiveness, the results of which may be used to improve the level of socio-economic development of the regions of Ukraine. Methods: system-structure analysis, typification, modeling, cluster analysis, factor analysis, multidimensional scaling, correlation analysis, cartographical, comparative-geographical. Scientific novelty: methodological foundations of human geographical assesment of regional competitiveness are developed.
