Essay

The dissertation provides a complex analysis of political repressions of Stalin's regime in the western regions of Ukraine in 1939-1941. It demonstrates the application of the main mechanisms of political justice concerning oppositions and the other groups. The forms and methods of the power's struggle against the underground, religious and church persecution have been presented. The paper reveals the peculiarities of four mass deportations as a means of political terror.
