Kirienko O. Military censorship in Ukraine (July 1914 ? February 1917).

On the basis of archive materials, published sources and scientific literature the story of military censorship of the Russian empire in Ukraine during July 1914 ? February 1917. Subsequent analysis of foreign and domestic historiography of general and military censorship, as well as adjacent issues related to information policy of the Russian Empire during the First World War, found that studied in the thesis a scientific problem only partly reflected in the scientific literature. Because of the work of historiography is a significant expansion and addition of scientific knowledge on the history of censorship institutions in Ukraine, Russian Empire, the information policy of the Russian autocracy in wartime. Much attention in the thesis is devoted to study organizational aspects of military censorship in Ukraine, characteristic of the imperial military censorship legislation in July 1914 ? February 1917, which constituted the basis of "Temporary Statute on Military Censorship of July 20, 1914", "The lists of information and figurative information about the external security of Russia and its naval defense prohibited the disclosure of information media and in speeches, or reports publicly proclaimed that"(editorial of July 26, 1914 and of 29 July 1915), "Rules for the organization and the military censorship on July 23, 1914".
