Forming general-cultural competence in future technical specialists while teaching the Humanities.Integrative, competence, systematic, personality-oriented approaches to learning the Humanities in a technical higher educational establishment are described. Components of general cultural competence, its levels are determined. Pedagogical conditions which have proved to be helpful in the process of general cultural competence forming are the following: changes in the structure of a practical lesson in teaching the Humanities, changes in motivation of the Humanities studies, using interactive methods of teaching the Humanities, improvements of independent learning the Humanities. Under the conditions mentioned above we have gained positive changes in the levels of general cultural competence formation. So, positive results of the process of general cultural competence forming under the mentioned above pedagogical conditions are theoretically acknowledged and experimentally proved.
