Object - substantivized units taken from the texts by the A. Block mentioned using the method of total sample; aim - to provide the description of the substantivized units system in poetic texts by Alexander Blok and to reveal their functions in the author’s poetic language; methods – descriptive method, comparative and text-interpretation methods; distributive and statistical methods; novelty - the author presents a complete description of the substantives functioning in poetic texts by Alexander Blok, illuminating their role not only in creation of poetic images, but also in realization of the main motives of the poet’s creativity, as well as in poems cycles organization; results - a list of substantivized units in the poetry by Blok as well as their structure and semantic features has been found out; the scope of syncretism of the chosen units has been defined; the description of the poetic texts substantives has been made; the evolution of use of the substantivized units by Blok has been observed; the register of the substantives taken from the texts has been established; branch - stylistics, linguistic text analysis, morphology, word formation.
