Object of research: process of preparation of the future teachers-philologists; a subject: pedagogical conditions of realisation of preparation of the future teachers-philologists to education of spiritual needs of pupils by means of preventive activity and experimental check of pedagogical conditions of efficiency of its realisation in educational process of the higher school; methods: the theoretical: the analysis of the philosophical, psihologo-pedagogical and scientifically-methodical literature; the empirical: supervision, interrogation, self-diagnostics, studying of results of activity of students; pedagogical experiment (ascertaining, forming); mathematical methods of processing of experimental data, graphic giving of results of experiment; scientific novelty: for the first time the model of preparation of students to education of spiritual needs of pupils by means of preventive activity is developed; Pedagogical conditions which provide efficiency of its realisation in teaching and educational process of the higher school are proved and approved; the maintenance of concepts «educational preventive activity» and «preparation for educational preventive activity», «education of spiritual needs» is specified; criteria and indicators of levels of readiness of students to carrying out of educational preventive work with pupils and formation of their spiritual needs by means of philological disciplines are studied; uchebno-methodical maintenance of process of preparation of the future teachers-philologists to education of spiritual needs of pupils by means of preventive activity is improved.
