The dissertation is devoted to the theoretically-empirical research of the features of experiencing negative psychic states by police officers in typical situations of professional activity. The presence of different typical versions of negative psychic states in tested groups has been ascertained. There have been revealed the axes according to which the subjective categorizing of psychic states by the tested primarily occurs as well as the content indicators of experiencing negative psychic states by police officers in typical situations of professional activity. There have been developed the practical recommendations as to improvement of psycho-precautions against negative psychic states of the Internal Affairs Bodies personnel.
