Object - congenital hydronephrosis in children; Purpose of the work - Increase of effectiveness of treatment of congenital hydronephrosis through the working out the measures of prophylactics of pyelonephritis after surgery; Investigational methods - clinical, experimental, biochemistry, laboratorial, X-ray, statistical; Scientific novelty - It was established that pyelonephritis after surgery due to hydronephrosis arises on conditions of depression of fibrinolytic activity of kidney tissue against the background of reduced urokinase activity of urine. Ozonized normal saline solution corrects the derangements of fibrinolytic activity of kidney tissue, blood plasma, urokinase activity of urine, excretory, ion-regulating and acid-regulating functions of kidneys; results - Intraoperative usage of three-canal drainage system and postoperative lavage of renal pelvis and upper urinary passages by the ozonized normal saline solution (3-5 mg/L) lead to clinical improvement and can be used for the purpose of prophylactics of pyelonephritis in case of hydronephrosis in children; it has been itroduced into medical practice and studying process; sphere - medicine.
