Object of research: vocational рreparation of future humanities teachers. The aim is a theoretical substantiation, experimental check of model and technology of preparation of future humanities teachers to application of the computer oriented tasks in professional activity. Methods: theoretical, empirical and statistical. Novelty: the model of preparation of future humanities teachers to application of the computer oriented tasks in professional activity is developed and theoretically proved for the first time; the essence of a problem of preparation of future humanities teachers to application of the computer oriented tasks is defined as one of the most actual for the modern theory and practice; the technology of preparation of future humanities teachers to application of the computer oriented tasks in professional activity is introduced in educational process and checked experimentally; pedagogical conditions which provide preparation of future humanities teachers to application of the computer oriented tasks in professional activity are proved and checked experimentally; criteria and levels of readiness of future humanities teachers to application of the computer oriented tasks are defined; the process of preparation of future humanities teachers to application of the computer oriented tasks and its scientifically-methodical support are improved. The content, forms and methods of vocational preparation of future humanities teachers has got further development. Results: the results of the research can be used for further improvement of preparation of future humanities teachers. Sphere: theory and methods of professional education.
