Essay

Object: Ukrainian national-religious world picture, represented in the Ukrainian traditional values, in particular literature, philosophy, gender relations and workaday practices. Aim of the work is to analyze the attitude to a woman in the orthodox world picture in the Ukrainian national tradition, to analyze the status of a woman on crossing of the orthodox world picture in the Ukrainian national tradition, to find out the influence of orthodox ethics on forming of the Ukrainian national world picture and gender ideals of modern Ukrainian society. Methods: hermeneutive, semantically conceptual, symbolically interpretative, gender, comparative analysis. Results, their novelty: It is marked that national gender tradition, was under the considerable influence of orthodox values, that during ages concentrated in literature, art, national-cultural characters, and, consequently, got to public consciousness and public practices, art; it is investigated that the evolution of ideals of "femininity"; the certain national difference of Ukrainian gender emancipation is well-proven both from the Russian and from west-European variants; the specific of influence of orthodox values on the gender ideals of modern Ukrainian society and self-realization of woman in the context of the Ukrainian traditional culture is found out and calls of the social-political development; basic strategies of female subjectiveness are selected and described. Practical purpose of the dissertation project lies in the use of its materials for development teaching courses or special courses on theory of culture, philosophy of science and philosophic anthropology.
