Object - the phenomenon of the educational system in modern social-cultural contexts; purpose - to define anthropological and social-cultural determinants and development trends of the postgraduate teacher education in modern social-cultural contexts on the basis of system-theoretical analysis of the postgraduate teacher education phenomenon; methods - principles of the system-theoretical analysis, methods of anthropological reduction and anthropological interpretation in combination with phenomenological approach and hermeneutics; abstracting and specification, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, generalization, simulation, structurally functional, comparative and prognostic methods, biographic method, questionnaire, monitoring, testing, interview; novelty - on the basis of the system-theoretical analysis of the postgraduate teacher education phenomenon defined its anthropological and social-cultural determinants and progress trends in modern social-cultural contexts; results - can be base for the following development of problems which are related to the philosophical comprehension of the native education future, for development of the thematic special courses, for preparation of teachers and leaders of general educational establishments as educational philosophers on the extension courses in institutes of postgraduate education, for working with the wide public in regional Centers of public organizations development; sphere - philosophy of education
