Victoriya K. Social and political and economic changes in Poltava province in the conditions of Stolypin reform.

The thesis devoted to social and political and economic changes in Poltava province in the conditions of Stolypin reform. Socioeconomic prerequisites, main stages and reformation results of agrarian relationships in one certain region in Left-Bank Ukraine have been determined on the basis on processing literature, published and archival sources. The study of reform content has suggested to draw a conclusion about existence of reform significant peculiarity. The main point of this reform was not in public destruction but in liquidation of overburdening because it was one from the most noticeable obstacles on the way of market transformation of agrarian sector in Poltava province. Influence of agrarian reform on social differentiation of villagers, farming effectiveness of small commodity producers and development of consumer, agricultural and credit cooperation have been investigated.
