Essay

The theoretical part of the research deals with the notion of "Educational Complex", detaches it out of the social-territorial system, extends methodological bases for investigating educational complex and offers six consecutive stages of profound learning of the regional educational complex. Besides, the paper performs a detailed social-geographical analyses of the factors influencing the formation, development and functioning of the educational. Functional, componental and organizational structures of the educational complex have been investigated, as well. The author has calculated the indices of localization and territorial concentration of educational complex institutions, and has accomplished their regioning.
