Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the socio-geographical study of perception of tourism attractiveness of Ukraine's regions. Author investigates perceptual aspect in tourist demand forming and methodical basis of such studies. Introduced a new concept of "information-territorial projection". The study deepens essence of the concept "territorial and recreation system" through the introduction of information subsystem. Author refines structural model of the mechanism of motivational processes in tourism activities as well as typology of the factors of tourist motivation. The study presents typology of regions of Ukraine on the base of perception of their tourist attraction and gives reasons for geoinformative design expediency as a geomarketing tool.
