Essay

The dissertation studies the theoretical fundamentals of the state economic security and practical approaches to its realisation. It specifies the economic security essence and its place in the National Security system, analyses the connection of the former with the other constituents. This paper analyses and summarises systematises the threats to the state economic security, their types and sources. In addition, the thesis examines the contemporary approaches to modelling of the state level economic security regarded as the tool for ensuring it. The research paper highlights potentialities of exercising the contemporary mathematical apparatus. This thesis suggests the scheme of comprehensive forecasts of the state of economic security condition level via applying the major indicators, their boundary values and weight coefficients. The thesis substantiates the possibility of both identification of predictive estimates to major indicators of the state level economic security based on the use of the prognosis functions and their specification via methods of expertise. Having considered the theoretically substantiated principles, there has been designed the model of the economic security of the state taking into account its multi-variation. With the help of using methods of the contemporary economic and mathematical modelling as well as the algorithm of computing and specifying the predictive estimates to the major indicators of the economic security and its constituents defined on the basis of decomposition aimed at preventing crises developments and for counteracting risks and threats, the model explains the state and the process of economic security.
