Essay

Research object is the dynamics of the development of ovarian tissue transplants, recovery of the processes steroidogenesis of sexual hormones, as well as indices of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism in ovariectomized recipient animals in different terms after transplantation of mature and neonatal ovarian tissue. The aim is to study the developmental dynamics, steroidogenic function and follicle genesis depending on its initial morphological structure and hormonal status of recipient animal in transplantation. Investigation methods: surgical, cytological, histological, radioimmunological, photocolorimetric, statistical. Theoretical and practical results, novelty: it has been established that mature ovarian tissue during transplantation provides the restoration of estradiol and progesterone levels at long observation terms. For the first time the functional heterogeneity of ovarian tissue of post-natal development different stages under transplantation conditions was found. At heterotopic transplantation of ovarian tissue of the 1st day of postnatal development simultaneously with two-side ovariectomy occurs its atypical development at all terms after transplantation, substitutive hormonal effect is observed only at the 30th day. For the first time there were obtained the data about compensatory effect in respect of the level of sexual hormones of ovarian tissue of the 3rd and 10th day of post-natal development in recipient animals with two-side ovariectomy. Application area: R&D work with the aim of studying the development of ovarian tissue for development of transplantation methods of substitutive therapy; tuition of physiology, endocrinology, pathological physiology.
