The thesis seeks to answer the question "How is intersubjectively valid knowledge of society possible?". The answer to this question is given within the paradigm of philosophy of communication through combining systematic reconstruction of philosophy of social sciences in transcendental pragmatics (within which references to K.-O. Apel's, D. Boehler's, and W. Kuhlmann's works are central) and more original proposals within discussions of this school.
