Metilka D. Violence in an information society: the socially-philosophical analysis

Dissertation is devoted to social-philosophical research of a problem of violence in an information society. The maintenance of concepts "violence" and "an information society" is defined. The violence is considered as a certain version of strong-willed relations between subjects in whom the tendency to a reduction of inter-subjective interaction of wills in mutual communications to the subject-objective relations of unilateral direct instructions (or indirect manipulation comes to light). The conclusion about violence sublimation and de-subjectivation like the basic tendencies of genesis of violence in an information society is proved. The analysis of features of the basic displays of violence in a modern Ukrainian society is given.
