Datsko O. Using of natural dyes for textile materials assortment expansion and quality increasing

.Object: consumtional characteristics of textile materials (wool, silk, cotton, viscose fabrics), dyed with extracts of natural dyes. Purpose: Studing possibilities, environmental and economic feasibility of natural dyes (extracts of onion's husk (Allium cepa), flowers of Tilia platyphyllos and Chamaenerium angustifolium L., root and seed of Rumex confertus L., bark of Malus silvestris, offcuts of tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L. and Nicotiana rustica L), root of madder (Rubia Tinctorium L.). and peat) using to expand the range and quality of textile materials of different purpose. Methods: physic-chemical, microbiologic, qualimetric. The thesis is devoted to the study of textile materials' consumptional properties of different fiber composition, dyed with natural dyes, and the explanation of promising directions for its use in the textile industry. Results of research proved that dyed with natural dyes textile materials have high resistance to light, fever, dry cleaning, are environmentally friendly and have biocides properties. There are proved economic performance and prospects of implementation of the studied natural dyes in textile industry of Ukraine for coloring wear and products of decorative purpose.
