Ellis I. The Teacher's Image in the Social and Cultural Life of the Late Soviet Society in 70-80s of XX Century.

Object - the teacher's image in the social and cultural life during the last years of the late Soviet society; the aim - to study and systematize the means of presenting the teacher's image in the scientific- pedagogical theory and practice of the 70-80s of the late Soviet period in order to creatively use the positive achievements in the present day conditions; methods -general scientific, historical; novelty -the research has been the first one to present a comprehensive analysis of the problem of the teacher's image in the social and cultural life during the last years of the late Soviet society: the essence of the teacher's image within the researched period is defined, the social and pedagogical factors which influenced the teacher's image forming during the last years of the late Soviet society are characterized; the teacher's image structure is generalized; the peculiarities of the teacher's image are singled out; the functions of the teacher's image reflection are pointed out ; results - the special teaching course "Teacher's image in the historical-pedagogical thought of the late Soviet period" for the students of institutions of higher learning (III-IV levels of accreditation) and scientific-methodological resources to be used in History of Pedagogy teaching at Kharkiv G.S.Skovoroda national pedagogical university have been worked out; field - pedagogy
