Essay

The dissertation focuses on studying theoretical and practical aspects of research of reformation pedagogy ideas conducted by Ukrainian educationalists of the 20-ies and early 30-ies of the XX-th century. Research defines the essence of the reformation pedagogy as a systemic phenomenon; the stages of studying reformation pedagogy ideas in the national pedagogical science are determined on the basis of historical-genetic method; pedagogical and non-pedagogical factors that caused studying foreign experience are identified. It has been proved that the ideas which became the subject of Ukrainian educationalists' research presented all the main trends of the reformation pedagogy, led to creating original concepts, fundamentally new courses (pedagogy of collective, sanitary pedagogy, national education). It has been found that the research of theory and practice of the reformation pedagogy was organizationally supported by the state and became the course of the educational policy of the Commissariat of Education. It has been proved that reformation pedagogy ideas became a basis for updating target, content and methodological components of general-pedagogical and methodological training of Ukrainian Soviet teachers.
