Tkachenko S. Fowl aviadenovirus infection of first serotype and egg drop syndrome (biological properties of activators and diagnostic aids).

The thesis is devoted to the study of epizootic situation concerning fowl aviadenovirus infection of the first serotype and egg drop syndrome, and to the development of the means for diagnostics of these diseases. Epizootic situation in Ukraine concerning aviadenovirus infection of the first serotype and egg drop syndrome has been studied. Investigations concerning isolate extraction and study of their biological characteristics have been conducted. Origination of the isolates of fowl aviadenovirus infection of the first serotype, which circulate at the poultry farms of Ukraine, has been determined. Test-systems for agent cultivation, which ensure virus mass accumulation with maximal infectious titer, have been selected. Methods of the reception of specific to fowl aviadenovirus of the first serotype and to the egg drop syndrome sera with emulgated antigens have been developed. Protective media, which enable to preserve virus precipitant and hemagglutination activity at cool dehumidification at long term storage, have been selected. Test-systems for fowl aviadenovirus infection of the first serotype and for egg drop syndrome diagnostics have been developed. Method of the reception of primary quail embryo fibroblast culture and its use for isolation and cultivation of animal viruses is presented. Methods of prevention and control of fowl aviadenivirus infection have been developed.
